David Ander’s Mr Sark will be a regular
fixture on Alias in season 2, according to several sources: (WARNING-
SPOILERS FOR SEASON 1 FINALE)
The Man's
right-hand man will have a bigger role on "Alias" next season. ABC
announced Thursday (June 20) that David Anders, who played cunning freelance
spy Mr. Sark in several episodes of "Alias" last season, will be a
regular member of the cast this fall. His expanded role will probably mean
that Sydney (series star Jennifer Garner) and her SD-6/CIA colleagues will
have more face-to-face confrontations with The Man's organization.
Starts here The man, audiences
discovered in the season finale, is not a man at all, but actually Sydney's
Mom. She'll be played by Lena Olin. Ends here
. Anders, 21, has to fake the British
accent of Mr. Sark -- he's from Grants Pass, Ore. "Alias" is his
first major TV role, although he did have a bit part in the Olsen twins
series "So Little Time" on the Fox (now ABC) Family network. He's
also appeared in stage productions of "Jesus Christ Superstar" and
"The Diary of Anne Frank."
Alias also did well
in E! Online’s second annual Wanda Awards. Go to www.alias-online.net and follow the

This article appeared on www.ew.com:
Is Jennifer Garner the next Tom Hanks? Sort of. She's in talks to star in ''13 Going on 30,'' for which she'd earn $3 million, the Hollywood Reporter says. The paper describes the movie as a female ''Big,'' about a gawky adolescent who is transformed into a popular, full-grown adult babe. Garner would shoot the film next year, when her hit series ''Alias'' goes on production hiatus.
It also appears that Sarah Shahi has a new show:
From: E! ONLINE.... by Mark Armstrong
--Comedian Kevin Hart and Sarah Shahi ("Alias") have been added to
the
cast of NBC's "Class of '06," a comedy about six college freshman
pals/roommates. As of Monday, two of the six remained uncast; Kyle
Howard and Keri Lynn Pratt were previously announced.

According to the July issue of Total Film, J J Abrams, is set to write a new Superman film. however, they didn't seem over enthusiastic about the choice of him as writer, especially as the producers are aiming for a 'lighter tone'. And I quote: 'And who's penning this comics comedy? J J Abrams- writer of laugh riots Regarding Henry and Forever Young. Riiiight.....' NOTE: This is there opinion, not mine. I'm sure he'll do a great job.
